NO EXTRA CHARGE AFTER MIDNIGHT. We do not charge any extra rates late at night or for bank holidays or Sundays (unlike the hackney and black cabs). Extra rates apply to the festive season only.

For your added safety and peace of mind we will txt you back with the make, model, registration and colour of the vehicle that is being sent to pick you up.  Thus ensuring you get into a correctly insured vehicle.  Also useful when leaving a venue where there maybe lots of taxis waiting, especially at Christmas time. You know instantly which is your taxi!! (cost 35p plus normal network cost).

Student safety tips when travelling with any taxi company

  • Ask for free callback to avoid waiting outside in an unfamiliar area.
  • Ask for text back.
  • Always try and pre-book your taxi if possible
  • Wait in groups and in a well-lit area
  • Make sure the driver has a council licence plate on the back of the vehicle. (This means that the car is correctly insured to carry passengers)
  • Do not flag down a vehicle that is not a hackney (it will not be insured to take you unless it is pre-booked)
  • Ask to see the drivers I.D. badge
  • If the vehicle has been fitted with a meter then ensure that the driver switches this on at the start of the journey.
  • Ask for a receipt
